The faculty conducts two undergraduate degree programmes;
- BScHons in Food Science and Nutrition Degree programme: A science-based programme offering a diverse curriculum spanning food and nutrition, public health nutrition, and dietetics. This degree is the first and only programme in Sri Lanka’s state university system solely dedicated to advancing human nutrition education with food science. Its mission is to develop skilled professionals and frontline workers capable of addressing national health and wellness challenges.

- BScHons in Food Production & Technology Management Degree Programme: This multidisciplinary degree programme is designed to meet both national and global demands for skilled professionals in sustainable food production, processing, and technology management. It places a strong emphasis on modern food systems, post-harvest handling, and product development. By integrating food production with cutting-edge technological advancements, the programme aims to increase food availability while maintaining ecological balance to ensure sustainable food security and nutrition. Additionally, it equips graduates with essential business management skills, preparing them to meet the evolving needs of the modern food industry.
