The Inaugural Ceremony of the Alumni Association for the Department of Applied Nutrition was held on 26th<\/sup> March at Avenra Garden Hotel, Negombo. Prof CVL Jayasinghe, the Dean of the FLFN, Dr. Kumari Rathnayaka, Head of the Department, Prof Renuka Silva, Chair Professor of the Department and some of the permanent academic staff members participated in the event. New office bearers for the Association were elected at the event.
