Department of Applied Nutrition of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka (WUSL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute of Sports Medicine (ISM) to provide nutrition services to high-performance athletes of Sri Lanka on 17th November 2021.<\/p>\n
This memorable event was graced by the Hon. Thenuka Vidanagamage, the State Minister of Rural and School Sports Infrastructure Improvement, Dr. Sanjeewa Bowatte, Vice-Chancellor of the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, Dr. Lal Ekanayake, Director General of ISM, Prof. Chamila Jayasinghe, Dean of the Faculty of Livestock, Fisheries & Nutrition and Dr. Kumari M. Rathnayake, the Head of the Department of Applied Nutrition along with Prof. Renuka Silva with other academics\/researchers from the WUSL.<\/p>\n
