The Faculty of Livestock, Fisheries, and Nutrition of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka held its 6<\/span>th<\/sup><\/span> Undergraduate Research Symposium (UReS 2019) along with the publication of proceedings on 10<\/span>th<\/sup><\/span> December 2019 at the faculty premises. The theme of the symposium was \u2018Towards sustainable food systems: Opportunities and challenges\u2019. Eighty undergraduates presented their final year research findings to an audience comprised of more than 300 people. Prof. E.M.P Ekanayake, Vice-Chancellor, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka was the Chief Guest of the symposium.
